New: The mobile robot HD-1500
The mobile robot HD-1500 is the newest and most powerful of OMRON's mobile robots.
With a heavy load capacity of up to 1500 kg, it is ideal and adapted to the needs of today's factories that necessarily require a stand-alone handling solution that can handle very demanding industrial automation tasks while implementing the new social distancing requirements due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
With a payload capacity of 1500 kg, the mobile collaborative robot can transport large and heavy automotive components such as car chassis, large pallet-sized payloads, and items that would traditionally have been moved using forklifts.
The new HD-1500 mobile robot complements ORMON's previous mobile robots, the LD-60/90 and LD-250, and perfectly completes the range.
With Omron's Fleet Manager, up to 100 mobile robots of different sizes, configurations and capacities can be controlled at a time under one system to automate complex material transport and logistics applications.
The robots can automatically calculate the best route, while safely collaborating with people and bypassing obstacles, without the use of ground tape or other guides.
