BIBUS France and Microscan, expert in machine vision

BIBUS France, a specialist for more than 50 years in the supply of industrial products in the fields of pneumatics, hydraulics, mechatronics and the environment, chose in 2015 to extend its range with the reading, control, traceability and machine vision solutions of the American Microscan.

In 2017, BIBUS France acquired DILEC, the exclusive French distributor of LVS brand 1D and 2D barcode verifiers (owned by Microscan), thus strengthening its skills and positioning in this sector.  

Omron: the industrial automation giant

Founded in 1933, the Japanese Omron has become a leading global player in industrial automation solutions and electronic components, with more than 36 000 employees in 117 countries.

It was only natural that Omron acquired Microscan at the end of 2017 to add machine vision, 1D and 2D barcode reading and verification products to its "Detection and Automation" range, with the associated technical skills and high level of expertise. With this new string to his bow, Omron is ready to conquer the factory of the future!

to support its customers to the Industry 4.0.

In the continuity of the collaboration established with Microscan, BIBUS France has renewed its commitment to become one of the European leaders in reading, control, traceability and machine vision solutions by formalizing its alliance with Omron last June.

« The realization of our partnership with Omron will continue to open doors for us. Thanks to the brand's reputation, we will be able to gain market share and take our range to the next level. We are also considering expanding our offer: why not integrate cobotic solutions into our "Reducing of health risks" range? This would be a first step towards Industry 4.0. » explains Frédéric COMTE, Sales Director of BIBUS France.

Industry 4.0 is already a reality today, notably through the Industry of the Future Alliance and recent initiatives such as the French Fab Label. Industries are moving towards robotic solutions, and in particular collaborative robotics, to gain flexibility and versatility in their production processes. BIBUS France, supported by Omron, intends to support its customers in these state-of-the-art developments.
