ECKART rotary hydraulic cylinders

Series E1

ECKART E1 series cylinders benefit from the latest technological advances in this field (optional optimised end of stroke damping, high gear hardness, perfect sealing, bearings capable of withstanding high forces,...).
They operate on the principle of two sets of helical gears, which gives them a very small footprint.
They are designed for applications where the operating pressure does not exceed 100 bar. Depending on the different sizes, this series can develop torques of up to 2450 N.m at 100 bar.

The multitude of options available (end of stroke damping, rotation angle adjustment, detection, output shaft type,...) gives the E1 series great flexibility and varied functions.
This allows us to have a product optimized for each application.

  • Torque up to 2450 Nm at 100 bar
  • Rotation angle: 90, 180°, 270° or 360° (other on request)
  • Optimized end of travel damping (optional)
  • Can be used from 10 bar due to the high quality of gear machining and the use of low-friction seals.

Series E3

ECKART's E3 series cylinders have been specially developed for mobile applications. Its size is very small. It can be used on public works, agricultural and/or lifting equipment. Depending on the different sizes, this series can develop torques of up to 3600 N.m at 210 bar.

Example: Use of the E3 on an aerial work platform: The cylinder can be mounted at the end of an arm. Its function will be to turn the nacelle. It can resume the efforts (to be verified by calculation). Another advantage: it is possible to pass flexible hoses and/or electrical cables through the centre of the cylinder, thanks to a through hole. A through shaft can also pass through this hole. We can provide optional integrated balancing valves: load holding, end of stroke damping and pressure limitation.

Series SM4

The cylinders of the ECKART SM4 series benefit from the latest technological advances in this field (optimized end of stroke damping as an option, high gear hardness, perfect sealing, bearings capable of withstanding high forces,...). They operate on the principle of two sets of helical gears, which gives them a very small footprint. They are designed for applications where the operating pressure can reach up to 250 bar. Depending on the different sizes, this series can develop torques of up to 85,000 N.m at 250 bar.

As standard, the rotation angle can be adjusted by +/- 5° as well as the initial position of the keys, making installation and use very easy.

In addition, the multitude of options available (end of stroke damping, detection, type of output shaft, etc.) gives the SM4 series great flexibility and varied functions. This allows us to have a product optimized for each application.

  • Torque up to 85,000 Nm at 250 bar
  • Angle of rotation: 90, 180°, 270° or 360° (other on request)
  • Optimized end of travel damping (optional)
  • Can be used from 20 bar due to the high quality of gear machining and the use of low-friction seals
  • Operating pressure max. 250 bar

Series HyRAV Flex
